Membership for All (MFA)

The YMCA of Alaska believes everyone deserves the opportunity to belong. Membership for All (MFA) is our financial assistance program designed to help individuals and families access YMCA memberships and programs regardless of their ability to pay. Through MFA, we remove financial barriers so more people can experience the benefits of connection, healthy living, and community support.

Assistance is based on household income and circumstances, and all information is kept confidential. Our goal is to ensure the Y remains a welcoming place where everyone can grow, thrive, and feel supported.

Membership for All uses a sliding scale to adjust membership and program fees based on financial need. Eligible participants receive reduced rates while maintaining full access to Y facilities, programs, and services. The application process is simple, respectful, and designed to support families and individuals through every step. Our team is available to help answer questions and guide you through the process.
